Well...I know how to work with the MKVextractGUI or MKVtoolNix and I already have the K-Lite Code Pack Full version installed. However, after the extraction, I used TMPEGEnc to import the H264 file, which was just extracted from the MKV, it worked but it took quite a bit of time(10 minutes or more) to import successfully. Assuming this is normal, but I doubt it. Here comes the problem.
1) Since my CPU is i7 extreme 965, which was overclocked to about 3.8ghz and my graphic card was radeon 5870. I doubt that it would be fast if not real fast...But it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or more to import the H264 file, which is about 1.1GB.
2) After importing, for you guys who are familar with the GUI and layout, there is a button for editing/cutting. If you click on it, you should be able to select the portion of the movie and frame. Usually you will see the movie if you play it. However, the whole screen just turned black and the process took quite a long. After the conversion was done half way through, I just aborted it just to see what the result was but the outcome was the movie had no sound, and then it played just like snail(everything seemed to be in slow motion). Just wonder if H264 is indeed supported by TMPEGEnc authoring 4? Or there is something missing which I don't really know about?
